It has become increasingly important that all ingredients contained in a food product are stated on its label. Consumers want to know what they are eating, and they want their food to be as natural as possible. Exter has developed an unique, savoury taste and Clean Label Bouillon (HVP), not containing any EU registered allergens or E numbers, 100% vegan and GMO-free.

kosher

There is high demand for kosher dishes, especially in the USA and Israel. For a long time now, we have worked with the internationally renowned OK Kosher Organisation. Exter is an OK Kosher certified company. In consultation with the rabbi, we ensure that our kosher products really are kosher, developed in accordance with Jewish food regulations. We can even supply products for Badatz and Passover.

natural

There is a sharp increase in demand for natural ingredients, but the term 'natural' has different meanings in different parts of the world. Several years ago, Exter developed a group of natural tastes. Our starting point was Directive 2000/13/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. We also operate in accordance with legislation in other parts of the world (e.g. IOFI & U.S. F.D.A. 21 CFR 101.22).

Allergens

At Exter, we follow European legislation (Annex IIIa of EU Directive 2007/68/EC, amending Directive 2000/13/EC). We also have extensive knowledge of allergens in different regions. Are there specific allergens we should know about? No problem - let us know.

We do not work with peanuts, nuts, sesame seeds or lupin in our factory.

Non-GMO

Exter products are produced solely with raw materials and ingredients of conventional (non-gm) origin. None of the Exter products contain GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) or ingredients produced with GMOs. We only purchase from suppliers which guarantee non-GMO products.

Halal

Halal is an important topic all over the world. Halal is an Arabic word meaning 'lawful' or 'allowed'. It is a universal term which applies to all aspects of life. Halal is often only used to refer to food, preparation methods, ingredients and materials. For years, Exter has also produced products with halal certification. Many of our customers are located in the Netherlands and Asia.
